I'm thrilled you took the time to stop by my website. Please take a peek around and enjoy!

I've always had knack for weaving words together and those combinations of vowels and consonants have always intrigued me. A voracious reader from an early age, I pored over books, delighting in the intricate, imaginative weaving of words. As delicious and satisfying as nibbling a pumpkin scone, sipping a white chocolate mocha, or—wolfing down a decadent slice of caramel chocolate fudge cheesecake!

Quotes delight me; Scripture invigorates me; words with their power and cadence mesmerize me; writers and authors fascinate me.

What motivates a person to write?

My personal infatuation with prose began early, though it wasn't encouraged to evolve into a full-blown obsession until I determined—no—I was compelled (and I do believe it was due to spiritual prompting) to write a Regency Historical Romance novel. It was love at first word!

So, I've taken my inherent creative abilities, a detail oriented (some have been known to call it perfectionistic) and often humorous and occasionally naughty over-active imagination, plus a devotion to everything related to romance, and have submitted them to a higher authority.

You can follow my progress as an author  here and on all thef usual social media forums. I'll be updating often. I've found all sorts of fascinating and intriguing facts as I researched for my novels, and I'll be posting some of those tidbits as well.

Please do leave a comment or email me if you'd like! I'll leave you with a Romani phrase from my second novel, THE VISCOUNT'S VOW.

Mi del o Del bacht sasťipen: May God give you happiness and good health.

Collette Cameron

As love is the most noble and divine passion of the soul, so is it that to which we may justly attribute all the real satisfactions of life, and without it, man is unfinished, and unhappy.
